Emily Westermeyer is an extremely hard working student athlete who excels not only on the court but in the classroom as well. She is a confident player who has excelled on the outside. She is a consistent hitter who plays great defense. Also, offensively she sees the court very well allowing her to make smart decisions. Also, as a junior she was voted by her teammates as captain of the varsity squad. I think that alone says alot about her work ethic and character as a leader. Emily is a great contribution to the Huntly High school varsity volleyball team. I have no doubts that Emily would be an asset to any college program as well.

My experience with Emily has been more than positive. She has demonstrated a unique ability for herself and those around her to exceed expectations. She rises to challenges confronting her with enthusiasm and passion. She has a strong sense of duty, and an unwillingness to be satisfied with anything less than the best; she has fun doing it.
Emily is not only a great player, but is also an outstanding individual. She excels in the classroom and is looked upon for her leadership. She understands the value of goal setting and the importance of team work. She has no problem bouncing back from adversity, and is always willing to put in extra time to improve on any strengths as well as weaknesses. She realizes that success can only be obtained through hard work and approaching each task with a positive attitude. She is a fantastic captain and court leader.
