Participation in high school athletics can be a key ingredient in a well-rounded educational experience. Involvement in sports provides opportunities for student-athletes to grow as a result of their interaction with other people. Through their association with athletics, students also learn the valuable lessons of how to deal with disappointment and how to handle success.
It is hopeful that the athletic experience at Huntley High School is a positive one that provides for the safe and healthy development of its participants. In addition, it is hoped that participating in high school athletics helps to instill the qualities of teamwork, pride, work ethic, responsibility and discipline in student-athletes.
